He is the son of Colonel Chaplain Alston R. Chace (USAF Retired) and Nephew of Colonel Frank C. Chace (U.S.M.C.). A Christian and military brat, who lived on many of the U.S. Air Force bases where the better-known UFO incidents have taken place. John became a witness to his own UFO sightings in Connecticut from 2011 to 2013. He then became a researcher, and historian on the phenomenon. Colonel Alston R. Chace, U.S. Air ForceJohn’s father was USAF Chaplain, Colonel Alston R. Chace, who passed away in 2019. During his 30 years with the Air Force, he knew several Mercury Astronauts (Gordon Cooper, Deke Slayton, etc.) as well as several UFO Interceptor pilots. One of his duties was to visit the pilots on the flight line.
