All the feelings of denial… anger… disappointment… depression… stifling anxiety and dread were wrapped up without a shiny bow and placed before me the moment of diagnosis. And so I began a “relationship” that I would never forget. The poems in this book highlight a journey that still continues. The physical illness has left but cancer is still part of who I am. I hope this book touches survivors… families dealing with cancer or anyone in its path. My goal is to have you read and feel that you are very understood and far from being alone.
