Ravenous Wolves: From Gnosticism to Narcissism traces the struggles the Christian faith has had since its founding by Jesus the Messiah in AD 30. Beginning with Gnosticism from the very beginning down through 2000 years of battles with various heresies and heretics, the Church has repeatedly had to take public stands for the Truth as revealed in Holy Scripture. These were not easy decisions, but necessary ones. In the last 200 years the spiritual state of the Church has declines precipitously until Narcissism rules the roost in many churches. The Western Church has traded the gold of the Gospel, as revealed in Scripture, for the glitter of pragmatism. This book (there are two volumes) is a call for a new Reformation within Christendom. R.C. Sproul says, “We need an Augustine or a Luther to speak to us anew lest the light of God’s grace be not only overshadowed but be obliterated in our time.”[1] John Piper adds, “Yes, we do.
