Choice recipes have been gathered from Virginia homemakers, who have long pleased their families and friends with delicious food. To assure you a successful adventure into Southern cookery and to safeguard Virginia's reputation for good food, the recipes have been carefully tested and selected by friends and members. Virginia Association for Family and Community Education is a working organization of women dedicated to the enrichment of home and family life. Food is an important interest of this organization, but only one. Clubs are a part of the community and carry on a continuous educational program and work with other organizations for community betterment.
