Red Jaguar Murder (Mummy On The Mountain)

The small Colorado mountain town of Pierson Park is rocked by murder. Bud Felson has been bludgeoned to death with a beautiful Oaxacan carving of a red jaguar. Chief Ron Donetti and forensic psychologist Tilly McGregor set out to discover who did the deed. The more they find out about Felson, the more suspects crawl out of the woodwork. He cheated on his wife repeatedly. He dallied with a rancher’s sixteen year old daughter. He had dodgy business dealings and bilked a local banker out of a lot of money. And who knew what else. Then the McGregor’s next door neighbor is murdered in the same way. With no apparent connection between the two victims, the sleuths are more stumped than ever.
