Roots and Wings...a scrapbook of time is a history book about Cannon Falls in Goodhue County, Minnesota. Residents, past and present, contributed their memories through stories, photographs and poetry, personalizing the content of this collectors book, which also contains letters from early settlers. Over 400 black and white photographs, some dating back to the 1800's, direct your attention to the quality of life in a small, hometown atmosphere. Additional chapters of the book are dedicated to poetry written by local residents, stories and submissions by children and a photographic update of the town and its people today. Local photographer, Connie Bickman spent seven years compiling the book for publication.
