Run, And Don’t Look Back!: 31-Day Prayer Journal

In the book of Genesis, the angels advised Lot to take his wife, children, and their spouses out of the town they lived in because God was going to destroy it. The instructions were clear: "Flee for your lives! Don't look back, and don't stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains, or you will be swept away" (Genesis 19:17). Everything went well, except for Lot's wife. She looked back, and the Bible says that she turned into a pillar of salt. This prayer journal is intended to help you avoid looking back. I understand that what happened may have hurt, but in this season, you can't afford to look back. Lot's wife represents many of us. God calls us out because there is nothing good left there, yet we still crave what used to be. This 31-day prayer journal is for you. My prayer is that you won't become bitter by looking back. If there was anything good in the place where God called you from, He would have left you there.
