S.T.U.F.F.: An Autobiography

This autobiography tells the story of Ms. Jadie Lee Lewis through her own eyes. Ms. Lewis begins her story as a child. Jadie, who at age two, came to California from Louisiana. Her journey even then caused a stir on a train. As a child, Jadie was raised in the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall. She says, "Life as a Jehovah's Witness was calm, my home life, however, was not so serene. I lived through periods of domestic violence and fear. The fear and violence took a back seat when at age ten, my mother enrolled my siblings and me into the Jefferson Child Care Center in Oakland, California." Ms. Lewis details her inappropriate behavior as a teenager, going to jail, and drug use. Travel with Jadie as she makes her mark on the world. Follow her journey through setbacks and salvations. Besides detailing her life story, Jadie introduces several episodes devoted to people she has been around all her life and others she's come to know. She says, "My accounts of their relationship with me is from my perspective and as truthful as I can be without going too far."
