Many saints have a great love for children. They listen to children's prayers and help them immediately. One such great helper is Saint Anna, the mother of the Virgin Mary and the grandmother of Jesus Christ. Saint Anna did and still does many miracles, but for now I will just tell you about her life and how she helped one little girl.

As the grandparents of Jesus, Anna and her husband Joachim are also considered the patron saints of grandparents. Their feast day is celebrated on July 25 in Eastern Orthodox Church and July 26 in Roman Catholic Church.
