Mihelick and Andrea Shearer, have choreographed, performed and conducted sacred dance workshops across the country and around the globe. They share the experiences of their Leaven Dance Company introducing sacred dance to people in churches, theatres, mental health centers, educational institutions and even prisons, relating the observations—and sometimes resistance—of church leaders, congregations, audience members, and dancers.
