The third section reviews biological studies by their disease categories, such as mood disorders, schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, alzheimers disease, psychoactitive dependence disorders and eating disorders. The final section covers recent psychopharmacological treatments for each type of disorder as well as special settings. It also includes an appendix on promising new agents in Europe and Canada.
