The Boom-Shaka Laka's in your Life: A Memoir of my Brother

Life can change in an instant. Instead of a traditional funeral, there was a Celebration of Life held in honor of “Our Bill”. It was beautiful to see how many people came out on that day and when you realize how many people he had touched. Over a thousand people took time out of their day to come honor my brother. Some were family, friends, patients, neighbors, coaches, classmates. Humbling to say the least… I could not help but think and wonder how many people would come to mine? Do I even know this many people? I can truly say that Bill was extraordinary. For Bill Musser, who has been my brother, my friend, and my mentor for fifty years, I am more grateful than words could ever express. He possessed the rare human qualities of honesty, playfulness, knowledge, integrity, and honor. I miss him. If you did not know him, I hope some of these stories have given you a glimpse into who he was. He lived a very authentic life with which I believe was filled with zero regrets. He exemplified how one person can make a difference to one person, hundreds of people, maybe even thousands of people’s lives. Thank you for reading my stories.
