The document is strongly Jewish in its flavor, providing a link to the Jewish origins of the Christian faith. The first portion is taken directly from the Qumran fragment The Two Ways, and models Christian behavior according to that pattern. The edition is balanced between literal rendering and conceptual translation in contemporary language. For anyone who is interested in Christian holiness and/or the connection between Judaism and Christianity, this is a fascinating read!
