The Fires of Tamarack is an unusual fantasy tale about the planet Tamarack. The story begins with a bizarre catastrophe coming from outer space. Engler has a foundation life in which he has had to start from the ground floor and fight for success in everything. To capsule his life would be to say he was laborer, a servant, a leader and a writer. Born in Syracuse New York, and by reason of circumstances with the parents: went on to live in Yuma Arizona, San Diego and Los Angeles. It could be said he was selfgoverned most his life and earned everything in his life the hard way. One fateful day he received greetings from his Uncle Sam. This Uncle requested his presence at the Los Angeles armed forces induction center. After being tested, it was determined he was eligible for Army officer training at Fort Benning Georgia. An opportunity came along after Infantry OCS to become an Armor officer during the Vietnam conflict. Mike was selected to be a S-1 staff officer as a first lieutenant at Fort Knox Georgia. After the service obligation was at an end , he returned to his old job at a Frozen food warehouse. In due course and hard work: he became a leadman, foreman, supervisor and eventually a warehouse manager. Michael served at this company forty-five years before retiring. Michael has been a prolific letter writer and written several books including “ Creating a will to work”.
