The Great Collapse of the Finite Revolution is a collection of eight stories set in the fictional town of Totenbett, Arizona. Accessed by way of Exits 246-248 off Interstate 10, famously unknown but not exactly unknown to the famous; a renowned but obscure hub of scientific research and development, and home of Arizona’s second-oldest University—emphasizing business, finance, and mental health studies. The first city in the world to boast fully-automated service establishments, every citizen of Totenbett—T’enbetts, as they call themselves—goes to George’s bar at least once in life, whether for the signature drinks or the local beers on tap; while some find themselves at the very edges of everything and nothing, with plenty of conversation but not a drop to drink. Out-of-towners welcome, caution advised to all, whether behind the wheel or simply crossing the street.
