Description
Starting middle school isn’t easy—especially when everything feels like it’s going wrong.
In The Not-So-Perfect Days at Middle School, 11-year-old author Sophia Davis tells the heartfelt story of Camila, a brave girl facing bullies, fears, and the challenges of a brand-new school. As Camila navigates unfamiliar hallways and difficult moments, she discovers the power of friendship, kindness, and believing in herself.
Sophia Davis began her journey as an author at just 9 years old with her first book, The Girl Who Never Brushed Her Teeth, a fun and imaginative story loved by children and families. With honesty and empathy, she continues to write stories that reflect real emotions and everyday experiences young readers can relate to.
This book is beautifully illustrated by Tam Ismerio, a talented teen illustrator whose expressive artwork brings the story to life.
A perfect book for children navigating middle school—and for anyone who has ever felt scared, different, or unsure.
A gentle reminder that even on the not-so-perfect days, courage, friendship, and hope can shine through.
