About the Author Ray McCarthy brings over 45 years of experience in business, real estate, and corporate leadership, including more than a decade in executive roles within the insurance industry. He holds an A.S. in Business from Rhode Island Junior College, a B.S. in Business from Roger Williams University, and an M.B.A. from Golden Gate University. Ray is a lifelong learner and practitioner of human behavior and communication. He is a Certified Master Behavioral Analyst (CMBA) through The Abelson Group, a certified DISC behavioral trainer, and an ICF-accredited coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation. In 2019, he served on the board of the ICF Los Angeles chapter as Treasurer, contributing to the advancement of professional coaching across Southern California. Known for his humility, steadiness, and behind-the-scenes influence, Ray has dedicated his life to helping others grow—often serving as the steady hand that guides from just offstage. He and his wife Terry live in Southern California, where they share life with their loyal and beloved four-legged companion, Riley—“a person in a dog suit,” as Ray fondly says.
