A young Jewish Sofer student is caught up in frenzy and intrigue during the epoch of the very beginning of Christianity. He travels ancient Israel and ancient Turkey amid the throes of warfare prior to the destruction of Jerusalem by Rome. It was the ending of times and the beginning of times...a burst of light exploded in Ori's face, then another, and another, followed so closely by a resounding reverberation that the youngster was blinded, then deafened, as he was pummeled into the street. Reeling from nearly being struck by lightning, Ori began to feel he was part of the roiling earth. Grasping bits of light as his recurring sight pieced together the last few seconds, he saw the street rolling like the waves of the sea, bobbing his body up and down as if he was afloat on...Wait! Those eyes! And they had seen him. As mysterious to young Ori as were the fetchingly, delightful eyes, so also would be his personal battle between Judaism and the beckoning of Christianity. The loosing of one and the grasping of the other became the gut-wrenching ordeal of finding, that in the Spirit, they were the same. They were Yeshua, Prince of Light, King of Righteous-Rule, Yeshua?! Jesus!! "Come with Me."
