I am Felicia Laqueen Glover, born on April 26, 1977, to Robert Shuler and Linda Glover. My life has been blessed with four wonderful children: Warren (29), Takira (20), Terry Jr. (20), and Jalil (15). Additionally, I cherish my role as a grandmother to two precious grandsons, Kaiden (9) and Tristen (4). My roots trace back to St. Matthews, SC, where I received my education through the public schools of Calhoun County. Later, I pursued further education at OCTECH in Orangeburg, SC, leading me into a rewarding career in the healthcare field, spanning 26 years. Presently, I am proud to serve at The Columbia VA Healthcare System, where I have dedicated the past 3 years of my professional journey. Beyond my career, my passion for cooking led me to establish "Queenie's Southern Cooking & Catering." Throughout the past few years, I've embarked on a personal journey of therapy, seeking healing from the traumas that have touched my life. The motivation behind my book's creation was twofold: to aid in my own healing process and to extend a helping hand to those who may have experienced similar trials. It is my deepest desire that readers glean insights into the transformative power of positive co-parenting, a significant achievement my ex-husband and I have attained. I aim to emphasize the vital importance of self-love and self-respect, even in the face of life's challenges. No matter how daunting the path to healing may appear, it is crucial to persevere. Every individual finds their unique route and timing for healing, but one universal truth remains: healing nurtures the soul.
