Description

The authors of this anthology, six women of very different backgrounds, met in a memoir writing class and came together as a group to share their writing with each other. They call their group Under the Redwoods because they often meet on warm summer days in a redwood grove in Ross, California, to help one another shape their stories. In this collection each writer offers a selection of her stories and poems…funny or sad, with unforgettable characters. The writers share insights as they journey to the past and explore their personal experiences.
