What a Day That Will Be

Mildred Ruby Tyler Salinas was a wonderful, wife, mother, minister and friend. She lived a life of miracles, the which if we tried to catalog them all, we would miss so many. Mom’s whole world was about her relationship with God. In this book, Bob Salinas has taken some of the stories Mom related which could be found on back pages of her bible, notes in the margins of her bible or a book she was reading, bits of paper–sometimes no more than a torn piece of old newspaper–that she wrote notes on and inserted into her day timer, calendar or especially her Bible. Scraps to remind her, like breadcrumbs on a trail, to find her way home. With this endeavor, Bob has begun the work of pulling some of this information together into his book. But it is just the beginning of a larger story hopefully to be relayed by other family members who also hold bits of those stories in scraps of paper, notes on cards or the backs of photos weathered with age.
