You Can Draw

You can draw -- all you need is a pencil and some paper. Once you're comfortable with the basics, try other materials and work on our techniques. Even if your first drawing isn't a masterpiece, don't worry! The more you draw, the better you'll become. Look long and hard at whatever it is you want to draw, too. The more you look, the more you'll see! Follow the steps to try the projects in this book and then vary them how you like. Maybe try ink instead of pain, orange instead of blue, swirls instead of lines. It's up to you! Pick up a pencil, open to any page, and get drawing!
