I decided to make this book so that any student who wishes to take the SSAT can do so with confidence, intelligence, and most importantly, fun! I modeled this work on my years of experience preparing for the SSAT and working on numerous different math books. Ask yourself: What do I already know about this topic? What areas do I need to improve on? What resources do I have to help me understand better? Evaluating your starting point helps you focus on what you need to learn and makes your study time more effective. 2. Plan Creating a study plan can make a big difference. Here’s how to get started: Set clear, achievable goals for each study session. Break down big topics into smaller, manageable sections. Decide on a specific time and place to study, free from distractions. Use tools like calendars or planners to keep track of your progress. Planning helps you stay organized and ensures that you cover all the necessary material. 3. Practice Practice is key to mastering any subject. Here are some ways to practice effectively: Work on practice problems or exercises related to the topic. Try explaining what you’ve learned to someone else.
