A Half Million Miles of Road Trips

Sam Allen has been seeking out the forgotten byways of the United Stares for decades, sometimes by car but usually on a motorcycle. About 10 years ago he began to write stories about his travels and published nearly 100 of them on his website, route66mc.com. This is a collection of about 50 of Sam's favorite stories about his adventures during a half a million miles of road trips. Included are chapters on The Rides; The Places and People; Route 66 History; Stories from the Heart and Politically Incorrect Stories. They sometimes are funny, sometimes irreverent, sometimes patriotic, sometimes serious, and sometimes poignant, but always entertaining. Like Robert Frost, Sam has taken the roads less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. Sam is author of The Route 66 Party Guide, which may be the most unique guidebook about Route 66 available. In addition to his website, route66mc.com, Sam has created the Route 66 Party Guide YouTube Channel, which has nearly 100 posted videos.
