We will explore the reasons behind this mass departure, dissecting the factors that are driving professionals away and highlighting the systemic issues that are crippling EMS from within. Through the voices of current and former EMS professionals, we will understand the psychological toll, the financial strain, and the bureaucratic hurdles that are making it increasingly difficult for EMTs and paramedics to maintain a fulfilling career in this vital field.
