The story of the Wallace twins, Ubini and Ukeke, and their extraterrestrial encounters unfolds before a backdrop of cross-country competition in beautiful upstate, NY. They transition to a new life moving from Virginia when their father’s teaching job brings them to a locale ripe with unexpected adventures. Ubini and Ukeke are renowned for their cross-country skills. Their father, MacArthur ‘Mac’ Wallace is a historian and a teacher. Their mother, a nurse. They arrive in Saratoga where they make fast friends with their new teammates. However, not everyone welcomes the outsiders. One of the twins has an encounter with an injured alien named Nova. Nova belongs to a docile alien race with extraordinary abilities. Unfortunately, Nova is being pursued by the Wryvyn, another race seeking to exploit these abilities. An accidental first encounter causes Nova’s abilities to transfer to one of the brothers. The twins and their friends attract attention as these powers surface. When locals start disappearing, their curiosity gets them into situations that become increasingly ominous. Eventually, Ubini and Ukeke become targets of the Wryvyn. While one brother learns to control his abilities, the other must rally their friends to aid in returning Nova to Caeruluziard and thwart the Wryvyn’s dangerous plans. All while trying to help their school with a state title and finish their homework. Can the Wallace boys cross the finish line, or will they run out of time?
