Jennifer and Leah lose their mother at a very young age and discover that life for them changes drastically; to compound the situation, their baby brother disappears mysteriously, and they embark on a quest to find him. Stephanie is a self-centered young woman who learns some serious life lessons. Anthony is a highly strung individual who discovers some unexpected information about himself that is life changing. Hezekiah must face certain realities and is forced to reconnect with the past that he has endeavored to distance himself from. Ultimately, Hezekiah is forced to create a balance between his love for his mother and the woman who becomes the love of his life, despite the tensions that exist `between the two women. Various characters reunite with friends and family members and discover the true importance of family ties. Despite the struggles and tragedies, there is a silver lining and hope for the future.
