Deep Center Young Author Project Fall 2022: Volume 14, Issue 4 - 264

Deep Center is a nonprofit organization in Savannah, Georgia. Its goal is to help young people write and share their stories with skill, confidence, and courage. Each year, hundreds of students in Savannah’s public middle schools receive fully-funded scholarships to be a part of the Young Author Project, Deep’s free after school writing program. Local writers—authors, journalists, and poets—volunteer to lead Deep’s writing workshops, and mentor local students through the entire writing process. Deep publishes each DeepKid’s best work in a beautiful anthology.
