Anne T. Romano, Ph.D. a graduate of Columbia and Fordham Universities is a renowned author and Professor of Sociology. She is active in literary and historical associations and has served as President of the American Italian Historical Association, Long Island Regional Chapter. Professor Romano has published four books and numerous articles on Psychological / Sociological / Criminological issues including spouse and child abuse patterns, terrorism, drug-related homicide and international crime patterns. Her earlier published books are based on her experiences with various social service agencies based in New York City. In this book she addresses her heritage.
