I moved from a 604 credit score to an 805 credit score in 6 months. When I achieved this 805 credit score, I noticed that I got favorable terms from banking institutions and auto dealerships. They would address me as Mr. when I walked in after they pulled my credit report. I now understood the power of credit. Bad credit is expensive, it is costly, and the same item purchased with a 550 credit score is significantly different from the purchase of that same item with a 720 or above credit score. What you realize over the life of the loan is that a person with a 500s credit score will pay almost three times more than another person would pay with a 720 or higher credit score for the same items or products. So, understanding this essential factor led me to a campaign of education where I charged myself with figuring out how to repair, rebuild and restore my credit profile to match my end goal. Since learning credit, I have been able to change many lives, significantly reducing high-interest rates through refinancing because credit scores were now in a position to have the power to purchase. Families can save a lot more money in their pockets, that same money going out to banks and institutions as high-interest rates on loans. I am very passionate about the consumer's education, knowing your rights and the laws that protect you as a federally protected consumer. You have the right to privacy and you, the consumer, dictate and authorize what gets reported on your consumer report. Once you can control what is reported on your consumer reports, you can influence the credit score. As a result, you will have favorable and lower interest rates or the funding you need.
