Nate, a student, and Mike, a police lieutenant, are unwittingly recruited by organized crime. They become instrumental in the company’s theft of works of art from a museum. It is based on the art heist from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. The theft took place at about 1:30 AM on March 18, 1990. There have been no convictions. Criminals from the Boston area sent the FBI on dead-end leads. The media questioned the competency of the two agents assigned to the case. The artworks appear to be lost. There were people involved but never brought to justice. Some clues are mentioned here but never adequately scrutinized. My story views a new theory about the crime. It is filled with romance, passion, relationships, tradition, quirky family members, and commitment. The setting is mostly in three cities: Boston, Hartford, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Through fallible characters, it offers an account of life and beauty in each town.
