When Alexander "Alex" Ruler left Polkville right out of high school to join The United States Marines, he never thought he'd spend eleven years away, running from heartache. But due to a mistake on his part, he now finds himself returning to Polkville. Things are not the way he remembers them. During his childhood, his father was the Sheriff and the town was squeaky clean. Not anymore. Thomas Leons moved to town shortly after Alex left for the Marines. He began buying properties up left and right, flipping them for a profit, before selling them to the original owners at three times what he purchased them for, he controls the petroleum in Polkville, and he owns the newly built casino, as well as pushes drugs for his financier, not mention his drug war with Antoine DeMarco. The town of Polkville that Alex remembers is long gone, as the townsfolk have all pretty much been forced to choose a side in the drug war, or they are too addicted to the drugs being run the town to do anything about it. Antoine has his West End Wendigos, a motorcycle club that acts as the law enforcement of the west end of town, while Leons controls the actual police force. Though not everything has changed, Alex's favorite location in town, The Kwondo School of Martial Arts is still standing and teaching the next generation. Can Alex make a difference in his town? Or Leons, DeMarco and their drug war take a toll on him?
