The mysterious death of a Nigerian diplomat's son puts the FBI on alert, and they are eager to extinguish the rising political tensions. Fearing an international conspiracy, they call in Special Agent Kimberla Bacon to go undercover and solve the case. Code-named Chameleon for her ability to disguise and infiltrate, she is teamed up with another agent, Michael Latimer. Kimberla is eager to take on the assignment and create some space between her and Jacob White, an agent with whom she shared a torrid love affair.
