Four hundred years before Christ, pagan Greeks were pushing materialism and naturalism, and they were denounced by their countrymen,whom God endowed with reason to approach the Trinity. At the time of Christ, Sadducees were doing the same thing. In the earlier ages of the Church, heretics, schismatics, and infidels have continually gone down the same prideful roads of misaligned logic, and they have been dealt with by Fathers, Doctors, Popes, Saints, Councils, and Wars. In our time, for the last five hundred years, Satan himself has spoken through human mouthpieces, the wickedness and snares of the devil have been manifested widely, and the path has been prepared full of thorns for all the little ones growing up amongst abortion, homosexual predation, disordered clergy, blasphemy, profanation of sacred things, and pride. Our immense privilege in this dark age is the voice of Our Lady, the very Mother of God, the Alma Mater, Spouse of the Holy Spirit, Who God allows and sends to vulgar ears and eyes, who then ignore Her. This is a catalogue and history of the rise and fall and rise again of good and bad ideas with a particular focus on these last five hundred years, with all that in mind, and a few recommendations on how to heed the most Blessed Voice which God has sent since He sent His own Son, through that very Mother, and thereby, avoid eternal damnation.
