When Martha started her journey into machine felting, she had zero knowledge and very little resources to gather from. She is a National Educator with Handi Quilter, and was at training when they introduced the new Handi Felting Foot, that is an attachment to the HQ longarm or stationary machines. Martha Rochelle Higdon opened her own quilting business called Around the Vine Quilting Studio in 2014. She loves to make a quilt come alive with her quilting. No two of her quilts are quilted alike. Felting is a new technique for her. As she tried to learn more, she found there wasn't much instruction out there on felting, so she wanted to create easy felting projects.
