My Alaskan Adventure - 3585

This is my story of hitchhiking to Alaska in my early twenties, written decades later. While in Alaska, I saw the midnight sun, flew over an active volcano, walked on a glacier, caught halibut without a fishing pole, and worked eighteen hours a day. I also had the best meal of my life, was in a pitch-black freezer with dead bodies, pitched crab having a wall of live king crab taller than me on both sides. I stood ten feet from a wild bald eagle and watched an Orca and her pup swim past me. Working next to college kids and criminals, there were fun times and there were scary times. I finished this book when I was older, looking back on myself. I hope you enjoy this adventure as much as I did.
