Paul did whatever it took, without compromising his righteousness, to win souls for Christ. We must do the same. Our mission is to preach the gospel message, just as Paul did. Times have changed but the message is the same. Since times have changed, methods have changed. This is not the day of momma or grandma when they made us go to church and Sunday school. This is a new time and we are dealing with a new breed of youth. Many of our youth today are not compelled to attend church. That means we must meet them on their turf. We must also be prepared to accept those who do come, even if it’s to shoot basketball. (You’ll understand later) In this book, I will illustrate, from experience and gathered information, ways to reach and connect with today’s youths. You’ll better understand where they’re coming from. This will help in achieving them. Most of us have been in some trouble before, some just didn’t get caught. This is the first step in reaching and connecting. We must realize that “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” including ourselves. We all are saved from something. Don’t forget! Our mission today is a difficult one, but not impossible. For with God, all things are possible. Gangs, worldly pleasures, and many other sinful activities are reaching out to our youth, and are reaching them. We must step up and fight for our youth. They must know, we are on their side, we are for them not against them. There are too many things against them as is. So often we run them away because they think we are against them. It must be known, that we are for them, only against some of their actions.
