Payback is Karma - 1426

When young Dee loses his father to a horrible and embarrassing murder, the loss has devastating effects on the tight knit family. Young Dee watches as his mother mentally checks out and completely detaches herself from her children and he witnesses his sister's slow decline of her self worth as she becomes sexually promiscuous resulting in bringing two fatherless children into the family fold. Dee is glad their paternal grandmother steps in and becomes the family's matriarch because she helps in keeping in order among the chaos but it was too little too late for young Dee. He hit the streets running and claimed it as his own. Young Dee is pulled deep into the street life and is quickly pushed up in the ranks when he showcases his loyalty by committing the ultimate crime for the organization he worked for. Frank, the boss of the drug empire Dee works for, recognizes the young man's worth and after hearing his story takes an interest in the fatherless child and takes on the role as his father figure and teaches him the game. As Dee's continues his move up in rank he is offered a lucrative deal with a Mexican cartel boss. He tries to include Frank in the deal but Frank seems to let his ego get in the way and young Dee takes the deal alone and soon becomes a young boss, knocking out all competition, including Frank. When Frank realizes young Dee is the cause of his declining financial empire, he plots Dee's murder. Dee, unaware of the hit, finds out about it and botches the attempt but has to leave town after handling it in his own way. He relocates to his aunt's home in Tennessee and switches his hustle from selling drugs to selling sex. Things are going well for Dee but karma rears its ugly head and his sister is kidnapped and threatened with death if he doesn't come back home to settle a crime he committed in that past. Dee has no choice but to go rescue his sister but can't figure out who wants him so desperately. He frees his sister but loses someone close in the process as the assailant gets away unharmed.
