Press On... Regardless!: An American Life - 6827

From time to time over the past several years, many of my friends have asked me to write a book about my life, but perhaps I have been too busy suffering the slings and arrows of advancing old age to undertake the project. However, over the last couple of years, I have had the time to think more about my past activities and events I have created and been involved in. Looking through my photo albums helped jog my memory about my earliest years since some of those photographs go back over 100 years. There are three primary areas of my life which I have chronicled in some detail in this book – sports car road racing, my involvement with collector cars, and big boat sailing. These parts of my life overlapped at some point which kept me quite busy for many years. Throughout this journey, I have been fortunate to meet and become friends with many wonderful people who helped and encouraged me to undertake new endeavors. Much of my success is a result of key people who played important roles in my life, many of whom you will meet in the following pages. It has been a great ride, and this opportunity to recall so many memories has been a very enjoyable experience. Perhaps you will learn a few new things about Bob Cole you were not aware of, but in any case, I hope you enjoy the book. Press On! Bob Cole
