During her personal struggle with anxiety and panic, the author noticed that most books about anxiety are lengthy, academic, and hard to digest while suffering from an anxiety disorder. This realization compelled her to condense what she learned from many months of therapy into this short handbook in hopes of helping others who need fast relief from anxiety.
Using established methods from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the author outlines 31 simple concepts to relieve anxiety, one for each day of the month. Each one-page concept is followed by simple steps to put the tool into practice so readers can get on with their lives!
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Born and raised in Northern Minnesota, Brenda Rose went on to get an accounting degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington followed by an MBA from the Carlson School of Management. With a CPA in hand, she started her career in public accounting in Baltimore and shifted into consumer products marketing in Minneapolis. From there, she dove headfirst into raising her four kids in California. Since 2006, she has been involved in executive recruitment and helping CPA firms build and operate teams of consultants serving the national middle-market and M&A ecosystem.
