Caregivers can be anyone, from family members to friends. Every one of these people fills a need for the cancer patient. It could be a meal dropped off, a laugh shared during a treatment, or even just a smile from across the room. This is not a long book. This is my experience for what it’s worth. The love of my life was diagnosed with multiple myeloma a few years ago and our life since then has been filled with ups and downs. It began as a journal for myself until I realized my point of view might help someone else going through being with someone diagnosed with multiple myeloma. There is no normal. Whatever happens to you and however you and your person handle it is your normal and everything is possible. I offer you my thoughts, my tips and some insight with good intentions.
