I will NOT even attempt to tell you what you should believe or do, but I will tell you the truth that I have discovered for my life through the process of exploration and inquiry. I will give you tools for your tool box to help you make sense of these ancient stories for your real life. I will attempt to help you get into the heart and mind of the people who told the stories and carried their memory from generation to generation through 2000 years of history before they were ever written down. It takes a little effort if we're going to get to know someone, and this process will take effort. For me the effort has been worthwhile! In part one of the book I will attempt to equip you with the tools of understanding that helped me find deeper meaning for my life as I read the Bible, and in part two I will use the first 77 words of the Book of Genesis to actually DO what I've attempted to teach. I will explore each word and phase with my imagination, experience, and resources beyond the Bible itself.
