I feel extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to write the original Hindi collection of quotations, Sw Swaroop Vichar Ganga, by Brahmaleen Jyotishpeethadheeshwar and Dwarka Sharada Peethadheeshwar Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Shri Swaroopanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, and to personally translate it into English as “The Flowing River of Eternal Self-Knowledge” I have personally written more than 20 books on spirituality in English, which have been highly successful worldwide. However, none of my own books have given me as much deep joy as writing this book of Maharaj Ji’s teachings. Each of his 250 quotations is priceless—capable of removing the sorrows of even the most troubled hearts and filling one’s soul with joy and peace. Yet, it pains me that despite Maharaj Ji living for 98 years, I never had the chance to meet him even once. In my entire life, I have never come across a spiritual teacher as profound as him. Through simple stories and deep Vedantic truths, Maharaj Ji possessed the rare ability to remove the veil covering one’s soul and awaken true wisdom within. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Brahmachari Achalanand Maharaj, who introduced me to the extraordinary works of Maharaj Ji and encouraged me to write this book. I also extend my gratitude to Brahmachari Dharanand, Brahmachari Dhyananand, and Brahmachari Vimalanand, who would send me an image of Bhagavati Rajarajeshwari every day, motivating me to complete this book with full dedication. Finally, I would like to thank Sadhvi Poornamba, who encouraged me to complete this book before the inauguration of Brahmaleen Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Ji Maharaj’s Samadhi.
