Three sisters living in Manhatten in the year of 1953, who are all still coping with their parents death, and a group of mean rich kids. Trixie, the oldest is trying to keep her family together, and make sure that her sisters are happy, healthy and do not set sent a girls home Evelyn, the middle sister is a hopeless romantic who is trying to stay out of trouble, but when she has a twist of events in her love life, she turns to someone unexpected. Winnifred, the youngest is the one who is just trying to find herself, she is intelligent and bright for her age, and just is trying to keep herself happy and trying to fit in. But things will only get more complicated for them as time goes on.
