Even my 15 year old who is keen to look forward to adulthood thought it was a worthwhile read. 2) Cathy Domoney has used simple therapeutic devices to help children build their ability to solve their own issues when they feel that their internal negative voice is getting the upper hand. The story can also be used as a great anchor for parents to subtly remind their children if they forget. As a trained Narrative Psychologist, I work in similar ways with adults. 3) Finally, Ms. Domoney has given parents a wealth of great strategies at the rear of the book to help reinforce confidence, self-esteem, and self-reliance in children. These internalized concepts empower children to live happy and productive lives and empower parents by knowing they are contributing to their child's well-being with simple steps.
