Whether you recognize it or not, the worldwide unification of Africa and its diaspora is underway. We, the true chosen people of God, guided by our inherent belief in justice, decency, and compassion for others, have realized that we have but one ally, ourselves. Those who once benefited from Black generosity and moral strength have now revealed their true allegiance. They have chosen the orange idol of greed, hatred, division, and exploitation. So be it.
No longer will we stand by as our people suffer to feed a system built on parasitic exploitation. For too long, the West has profited from Black labor and resources while denying our very humanity. They exploit, belittle, cheat, deny, and even murder to retain the false narrative of their superiority. And for too long, too many of us have allowed this injustice to persist. But that era is over. It is time to speak the truth about who we are and confront those who have denied our history and value.
It is long overdue for us to accept and support ourselves. To do this, we must rid ourselves of the parasite. Break the mental chain, reject the need for outside validation, and refuse to accept the values of those morally beneath us. As George Clinton of the Funkadelics famously said, "Free your mind and your ass will follow!"
Now is the moment to unapologetically remove our oppressors from our hearts and minds. But how? Who do we look to for guidance and inspiration? Answer: True liberation for Africa and its worldwide diaspora begins by embracing the "Way of the Kush."
The wisdom of the Kushites is the key to African diasporic restoration. The way of the Kush is the path we must follow to retake our rightful place in history. The Kush gives us a unified vision of what we were and what we can become if we turn away from the colonial parasites.
Some say this task is impossible, and no, it won’t be easy. How easy was slavery on the backs of black people? How easy was Jim Crow? How easy has it been to ink out a life while knowing you’re being cheated out of opportunities others take for granted? Freedom, and even more importantly, autonomy, is well worth the effort.
Our Ancestors Provide the Solution:
The Kushites were among the earliest and most influential Black African civilizations on earth. They built pyramids, educated, traded, and protected themselves and many other diverse cultures. Yet their name is barely whispered by the desert winds. The blood brothers of the Kush, Kenet, their history has been transformed into a nonsensical Caucasian cosplay. Don’t believe my words? As the Pharaoh Taharqa, the savior of Jerusalem. Oh, you’ve never heard of Taharqa? Then ask the Kush!
Even the tribal name of the Kush has been historically erased, replaced by a meaningless term like Nubian. The term Nubian is a generalization that does not relate to any particular African tribe or nation. We are not Nubian; we are Anu, who are our common ancestors.
From the Anu, the rivers of ancestry have sprung and flowed to every corner of every continent. Personally, I am most proud that the Anu are the ancestors of the Kush, the moral human beings. A tribe that made justice and morality the center of their civilization. The Kush is the only ancestor I could locate that lived by the Trilogy of Truth. Oh, you don’t know what the Trilogy-of-Truth means? Ask the Kush!
Unlike the parasites, the Kushite tradition was rooted in knowledge, integrity, respect, and justice for all. It was not just the military power of the Kush that I admired. The true magnificence of the Kush lay in their moral character. This moral legacy is why I devoted my life to the study of the Kush above all others. If you truly want to understand legacy and reclaim your power, I urge you to explore:
