It's true. The Gospel of Thomas is a collection of aphorisms, sayings of Jesus. Although its message is remarkably non-dual, the over-harmonized attributions one finds in other gospels are easy to (and wrongfully) project onto this one. Thomas Sutras has been written in a way that removes the "loaded" meanings of Kingdom, Father, heaven, disciples, etc to get to the subversive intention that the Teacher (Jesus, who also has been made into more of a caricature over the centuries) is sharing. This rendering hopeful scratches what Wisdom seekers have been itching for since the last hundred years of extra-canonical discoveries.
