Trail Musings: Jottings of a Solitary Suburban Jogger - 4471

We are born to run. The author, who was coached at the University of California and Harvard Medical School, is an accidental Archimedes, a Plato in the cave, and a surfing quark in Space-Time. While a resident for three decades in one of the East Coast suburbs, he went to a nearby Community Park, to jog and exercise. Returning home, quickly, he jotted down, while at the trail, if something had struck to his mind as noteworthy, for a period of twelve years. Selected and edited, these 160 poems (and photos) address varied subjects of nature, art, mind, culture, society, pastime, politics, philosophy, and life.
