Alicia Winkler - an incredible mother, wife, and friend - spent the last ten years in a personal battle against breast cancer. In the spring of 2023, when the illness took a turn for the worse and the cost of potentially life-saving treatments kept them out of reach, the idea for this book was born. By calling upon the creative talents of the many people who cared for Alicia, we would bring to life a tribute to her own creativity and powers of inspiration, and use the proceeds of its sale to offset her rising medical costs. Unfortunately, Alicia passed away a few short months later. She was able to read an early draft of this book, however, and now we bring the finished project to you.
