As he starts work on the case, suspected drug lord Navarro Varga, brother of the kidnapper, threatens the lives of Joe and his parents unless Joe locates the missing mother of the Ramirez children for him. Joe teams up with a grizzled old explosives expert in a desperate effort to prove David Novak’s innocence. Meanwhile, Varga’s timeline is about to expire, along with, Joe is certain, his and his parents’ lives.
